The Multimedia Platform is an open, flexible, vendor agnostic platform that allows carriers and service providers the capability to offer media (voice or video) resources to some or all calls or sessions across their entire network.
The MMP family supports wireline, wireless, cable, IP and IMS networks and connectivity to any OSS/BSS solution. The MMP family also allows carriers and service providers with service creation capability that will allow them to quickly deploy new next generation applications to the marketplace.
Various solutions supported by the MMP family include:
- Media resources for prepaid applications (request for PIN, destination number)
- On-call customized announcements
- Customer service applications including balance checks, balance top-ups, etc.
- Outbound reminder services – including bill/default payment reminders, service cut-offs, etc.
- Marketing campaigns to existing customer base including new services
- Mobile marketing applications
